Based in Berkeley, STAGE DOOR CONSERVATORY offers 4 popular summer camp programs in musical theater and performing arts to children entering the 2nd through just graduating 12th grade. Acclaimed artistically, our day camps provide an enriched, supportive and often profoundly memorable experience for children interested in developing and expressing themselves as young actors and theater artists.

East Bay After-School Children's 
					Summer Musical Theater Day Camp - Overview Photo KIDS ON STAGE For children entering the 2nd through 6th grade.
Three sessions of KIDS ON STAGE will be held our 2014 summer season, each two week long, between June 30 and August 8.
SESSION 1: Your a Good Man Charlie Brown
June 30 - July 11 (No camp on July 4)

SESSION 2: Roald Dahl's Jack and The Beanstalk
July 14 - 25

SESSION 3: The Emperor's New Clothes
July 28 - August 8

Each two week session concludes with a final performance for friends and family. In addition to rehearsing a play, campers will sing, dance, act and learn about stage craft. Swimming, one afternoon a week.

COST: $700.


ON BROADWAY For children in entering the 5th through 10th grade
PRESENTING Disney's Camp Rock, The Musical
This four week session of ON BROADWAY runs from June 23 - July 19 and culminates with 3 public performances of Disney's Camp Rock, The Musical on July 15-17. As members of our conservatory, all campers sing, dance, act and learn about stage craft. Swimming, one afternoon a week.
Director: KARYSS GONZALEZ
COST:$1420. Four hours of volunteer assistance is requested from each family.


TEENS ON STAGE For children entering the 8th through just graduated 12th grade
PRESENTING LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS
One six-week session of TEENS ON STAGEwill be held from July 7 until August 17 culminating in a professionally-staged production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS on August 15 - 17. As members of our conservatory, all campers sing, dance, act and learn stage craft. No audition is required for enrollment!
Director: KIM SAUNDERS
COST: $2120. Four hours of volunteer assistance is requested from each family.


BACKSTAGE For children entering 9th through just graduated 12th grade
BACKSTAGE is an exciting counselor-in-training program for teenagers. Each CIT will select a specific focus, such as choreography, stage and set design, music, costuming, stage management or direction. Participants will be actively engaged in one or more of our productions, and gain invaluable vocational training in their area of focus. CITs are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 daily for a period of 2 to 8 weeks between June 23 and August 17. The application is below.
